Hebron School

Model United Nations

January, 2022

Welcome To HSMUN 2022

HSMUN is an initiative led by A-Level students from Hebron School, aiming to start Model United Nations as a tradition in the Nilgiris. We hope to bring Hebron's rich culture of debate, diplomacy and diversity to young, passionate students from across India.

Letter from the Secretary General

Dear Delegates,

It truly is an honour to host Hebron School's very first Model United Nations this year. Even through COVID-19, Hebron School is establishing a platform for aspiring students to showcase their abilities.

This conference will bring high school students from around India to participate in a two day long conference to come up with resolutions to real global issues through constructive debate. All committees are run by Hebron School students, who also prepare the background materials and serve as mentors for all delegates.

We are looking forward to seeing you all in committee! Please contact us if we can help in any way.

Warm Regards,

Surya Pusapati - Secretary General

About Hebron School

Hebron School was founded in 1899 to serve the Christian worker community of India and South-East Asia. More than a century has passed and the School continues to fulfill its original purpose although it has grown in size and is styled an International School recognised as such by the Government of India and the State of Tamil Nadu. It is a co-educational and predominantly boarding school for children aged 10 years to 19 years. About 10% of our students are day students (with staff children and children from the Defence Services Staff Training College in Wellington in addition). Students study the English National Curriculum leading to IGCSE in Standards 10 and 11 and to A levels in Standards 12 and 13.
